07.12.2022 within the framework of the project ar14870260 "development of functional literacy of Primary School students in the conditions of digitalization of Education", a seminar was held at the pedagogical Faculty of Karaganda University named after academician E. A. Buketov on the topic "theoretical, practical problems of development of functional literacy of Primary School students in the conditions of digitalization of Education". The seminar was attended by teachers of KSU "school-Lyceum No. 66" of Karaganda, KSU "School-gymnasium named after Akhmet Baitursynov", KSU "school-Lyceum named after Alimkhanamekekov" and specialists of the "educational and methodological Center for the development of Education of Karaganda region".

The seminar is aimed at analyzing the content of the joint work of primary school teachers of general education schools of Karaganda and teachers of Karaganda University.E. A. Buketova on the development of functional literacy of Primary School students in the context of digitalization of Education.

During the seminar, a review of international comparative studies of TIMSS, PIRLSS was conducted, theoretical aspects of the development of functional literacy of Primary School students were considered; issues of foreign experience in functional literacy were discussed; samples of practical tasks for the development of functional literacy of Primary School students were considered.

At the end of the seminar, the plan of further joint work was discussed and summed up.
